B Tech (Bachelor of Technology )
Bachelor of Technology (BTech) is a professional undergraduate engineering degree programme awarded to candidates after they complete four years of study in the field. Engineering is one of the most popular courses in India and there are many institutes that offer the course to aspiring students.
For admissions, the most common BTech entrance examinations are JEE Main and JEE Advanced. Along with these national level entrance examinations, there are many state and private level entrance examinations that the students can attempt for admission to the course. The basic eligibility criteria for BTech is class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. However, there are additional criteria in every entrance exam and institute. Some of the institutes also conduct admission to their courses on merit basis i.e. based on marks scored by candidates in their class 12 board exams.
MBA (Master of Business Administration)
MBA is one of the most popular post-graduate courses in India and abroad. The full form of MBA is Master of Business Administration. For most of the managerial level jobs across domains and sectors an MBA degree is a necessity which is why, nowadays a large number of BTech, BBA, BCom, BA, BSc, BCA graduates opt for MBA in post graduation.
The most popular MBA entrance exams are CAT, GMAT, XAT among others. IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta, IIM Lucknow, FMS Delhi, XLRI and ISB are some of the top MBA colleges in India which take admission via these exams followed by individual GD-PI rounds. The MBA fee generally ranges between INR 10-25 lakh depending on college to college, however there are certain very popular top colleges where the course fee is much lower than INR 10 lakh like FMS Delhi, JBIMS Mumbai among others.
M Tech (Master of Technology)
Full form of ME is Master of Engineering and that of MTech is Master of Technology. MTech is a professional postgraduate engineering master degree programme awarded to candidates after completion of two years of study in the discipline of engineering. This degree is predicated in a specific branch of engineering.
